Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll nació en Barranquilla (Colombia), el 2 de febrero de 1977. Es una cantante, compositora y productora de pop-rock en español e inglés. En árabe Shakira (شكيرة) significa "llena de gracia". También tiene otras interpretaciones como "mujer agradecida" o "diosa de la luz".
Es una de las cantantes con más éxito internacional en la historia de la música latina. En la década de 1990 debutó en el mercado discográfico latinoamericano y de España con gran éxito. Su reconocimiento a nivel mundial llegó en el año 2001 con su álbum Servicio de Lavandería.

Christina María Aguilera (18 de diciembre de 1980) es una cantautora y productora estadounidense de raíces irlandesas y ecuatorianas y actual exponente de la música pop y R&B.
